Gas Prices Drop?
With the economy being terrible now a days, the gas prices are suddenly dropping, which is great. The price of gas is expected to go from almost 4 dollars per gallon to a little above 3 dollars per gallon. We can finally drive our cars without spending a million dollars on gas!
The fas prices seemed that they were never going to fall. There were many concerns about gas prices rising way above 4 dollars to almost 5 dollars. Good thing we do not have to see them get to 5 dollars per gallon yet. Hopefully the gas prices will continue to decrese so that they are affordable.

Movement of people
Since Logan Square has become more expensive to live, Humbolt Park is now facing issues concerning gentrification. People are moving to Humbolt park because it is cheaper, and also because it is still close enough to Logan Square to eat, go shopping, and to be back in their surroundings. As many may know, Humbolt Park is also known for cheaper living along with the “old” Logan Square. Soon enough many of the older Chicago cities will be changed to more expensive living conditions. Many people that moved to Humbolt Park are saying that even though the rent increased in Logan Square, they regret not staying in Logan Square because the buildings are turning out to be very nice and spacious.
Below is a picture of a newly converted apartment.
This is also a picture of a newer establishment in Logan Square.
