Since Logan Square has become more expensive to live, Humbolt Park is now facing issues concerning gentrification. People are moving to Humbolt park because it is cheaper, and also because it is still close enough to Logan Square to eat, go shopping, and to be back in their surroundings. As many may know, Humbolt Park is also known for cheaper living along with the “old” Logan Square. Soon enough many of the older Chicago cities will be changed to more expensive living conditions. Many people that moved to Humbolt Park are saying that even though the rent increased in Logan Square, they regret not staying in Logan Square because the buildings are turning out to be very nice and spacious.
Below is a picture of a newly converted apartment.
